Prepaid PPA

Prepay for your
solar power.

Our prepaid PPA comes with an upfront discount. The provider owns and maintains the system.

What you’re paying for.

A prepaid power purchase agreement (PPA) means you pay ahead for the electricity your system makes. You get solar savings without owning or maintaining the equipment.

What’s in your proposal

  • The discounted prepaid amount
  • How much power it covers, and for how long
  • Who maintains the system
  • Options to buy or transfer later

Three steps.

01

Get your price

Your proposal lists your discount, what you’d prepay, and the power that covers.

02

Decide how to pay

Pay in full, or finance the prepaid amount.

03

Use your solar

The provider owns the system and takes care of it under the agreement.

Questions about prepaying.

How is it different from a monthly PPA?

With a prepaid PPA you pay for the power up front. With a monthly PPA you pay as you go. Either way, the provider owns the equipment.

Can I get a loan for the prepaid amount?

Yes, if a lender approves you. The loan and the power agreement are two separate contracts.

Can I buy the system later?

Your agreement says whether and when you can buy it, and how the price is set.

What if I sell my house?

Your agreement covers transferring the system or buying it out. A loan for the prepaid amount has its own payoff terms.
